when mountains aren’t that exciting anymore

Must see this year’s going to be EPIC! at the end of May (of course in US alone is last february) James Cameroon (known best for Avatar) got his hands dirty caving in Esa’ala Cave in Papua New Guinea. Based on the true story of a near death experience by Andrew Wight an Australian caver. Though his story isn’t about Esa’ala Cave, Andrew was the main inspiration along with his team of 15 diver. Andrew also co-writes the movie which scene is most dominant inside the cave and in the water. Land was the one thing you want to and don’t want to see at the same time. As I watch this movie, Thank God, alone, I was curling my legs up to my chest and keep holding my breath. Then be ready to experience the same thing.

The story begins with Josh McGuire, son of a well known caver, Frank McGuire whose life has been dedicated to caves. Long story short, storm came in and jeopardize the exploration including some of the member being decreased and I’m not telling how. With stunning, effects and scenes that’ll take you to the edge of your seat saying “Dear God, what’s gonna happen next?” Sanctum will make you feel as if, you have to hold your breath or share a re-breather too. A journey that’s sooo intense, you will be gasping for air. (I recommend for those who have zombie problems, don’t see the 3D version)

sanctum

I’ve been watching some awesome movies too, one of them is Bond of silence and It’s complicated. Why I love those 2 movies are because of the plot and the edge of the setting. Bond of Silence is also based on true story regarding the death of Bob McIntosh on the night of new year’s eve. The movie takes place in a nice tourist town and I just adore places like that where everyone knows everyone, the story is inspiring and that’s basically it. While it’s Complicated, starting Alec Baldwin, Meryl Streep and Steve Martin (can’t you just smell that good movie aroma?) about a divorced couple (Jane and Jake played by Meryl and Alec) that find their way into loving each other again, I say it’s typical but after 10 years of divorcee and 3 grown kids, also life on their own, they just can’t possibly be together. Anyway, I love the plot and the setting of a small town with nice houses. So, if you do got some spare time for complicated romance, under the earth surface adventure or true story related movie then there you go!
