Fantasy and Mayhem
Gather round movers and shakers or simply lovers of fiction and comedy because I am going to tell you the must see movie that is now playing on the cinema, The Extraordinary Adventures of Adèle Blanc-sec.
isn’t she pretty? Now if you are in Indonesia that means I’m sorry to tell you this but, the English dubbing isn’t very good especially the girl who dubbed for Adèle. I was excited and hoping to see and hear a French movie. I don’t know why couldn’t they just keep the original voice and subtitled it with Indonesian. I mean, even if it’s in English, we would still be seeing the subtitles anyway so why not keep the original sound right? Anyway, it’s a comedy movie mix with, well, extraordinary adventures. Where mummies, pterodactyl and Paris mash as one easy taking comedy. I wouldn’t say it’s your typical family comedy. I would rather not go see this movie with my brother regarding the scene of Louise Burgoin taking her clothes off and taking a bath. But yeah, if you’re looking for a new type of comedy that has a mix of ‘whaat the hell was that about?’ then sure, I’ll give a recommendation.
Next we have an outer space experience, inside our own planet. at your home couch at least. the name’s Paul. Paul the alien. Now this is more like my kind of comedy. with two British nerds, one rude alien and a whole lot of mayhem and mischief, it’s a great lazy-sunday afternoon movie.
this is more American style comedy with lots of cursing. so, I suggest you watch it alone or at night when your little bro or kids are asleep. what makes this movie epic is for me, the presence of Ruth, a spiritual all around Jesus’ child that at the end.. wait, I’m not gonna spoil this. So if you want to know the full length story just wait until it comes out in cinemas near you or if you are like me and don’t have anything better to do, then go online and search the free video. I’m sure it’s out there already.
So, 2 movies with lots of comedy and fiction, mayhem and they are both so very different to fill your craving for entertainment. Just so you know, if you’re looking for horror movie reviews anytime soon, don’t bet on it. I’m no big fan of bloody scenery nor hand chopping, chest stabbing, human eating creature. Just pass me a good ol’ Friends DVD and I’m gooood
