3 movies to start the middle of the week, randomly I watched these movies and I’m instantly in love with the setting, angle and the technique their using while shooting. Well, without further or do, I present….

ANOTHER EARTH

To me, the most artistic part of this movie is the way they take the shots. It’s magical and enchanting but also real. The story line itself is deep and different. A little summary; Rhoda was just 17 when her can crash on another car and killed a whole family. When she came out from jail, she figured out that the father isn’t dead and she’s trying to make up her mistake but ended up losing her guts. In her effort of escaping earth and reality, she entered a contest to win a trip to earth II. Now if you’re an indie lover like myself, this movie is a must. It’s beautiful.

TREE OF LIFE

BluRay is now my new best friend, and HD too of course. Because they always add 

the excitement in movie experience. Tree of Life is a poetic movie that took mybreath away with its ambient. A family with a regular family problem living a regular life. A simple idea but that’s where the art is. When you translate a, what seems to be an ordinary thesis, into a personal message. it’s very much like a poetry. Anyway, I couldn’t judge this picturesque movie because this is that kind of movie where you have to experience the meaning yourself.

ONE DAY

This is personal to me, I thought at first this is gonna be another romance story. A little comedy, a little tears, a lot of romance kissy kissy scene. but I was wrong. The relationship between Emma and Dexter is like no other I’ve seen, it’s close to Harry and Sally but not similar. A little summary; Em and Dex met after a

graduation party, they begin as a romantic friends but continue on as just friends.Every year for 20 years on one day (15th july) they somehow always cross one another. They have  moments where they live a different life but in short, they’ve always needed each other. Until one day, they realize, they are meant for each other. To me, what makes this movie so romantic in its own way, the setting of time and place of course, and that platonic love. the best kind of love. Best line was when Dex said ‘I’m just better when you’re around’ likewise here, Dex. I am just better when that best friend of mine is around.
